Mexican Pacific League (LMP)

Yaquis de Obregon 10 – 2 Mayos de Navojoa
Naranjeros de Hermosillo 8 – 3 Venados de Mazatlan
Tomateros de Culiacan 5 – 3 Aguilas de Mexicali
Charros de Jalisco 12 – 2 Caneros de Los Mochis

Venezuelan Winter League (LVBP)

Cardenales de Lara 8 – 1 Leones del Caracas
Tigres de Aragua 8 – 6 Aguilas de Zulia
Navegantes de Magallanes 6 – 1 Tiburones de La Guaira

Dominican Winter League (LIDOM)

Estrellas Orientales 7 – 6 Aguilas Cibaenas

After spending a few more days in “training”, Aguilas manager Manny Acta confirmed that Juan Lagares was finally used in a Parallel League game last night. Lagares will remain in the Parallel League for the next two weeks with the team planning to activate him in the beginning of December.

Gigantes del Cibao 1 – 0 Tigres del Licey

Leones de Escogido 7 – 6 Toros del Este

With the Toros clinging to a 6-5 lead and the bullpen already having given up three runs in the top of the seventh, Peterson was called upon with runners on second and third to try and stop the bleeding. Unfortunately, his streak of batters faced without allowing a base hit would end after twenty-eight straight batters as he allowed a two RBI single by Scott Heineman to blow the save situation. Peterson would get the next batter to ground-out to end the inning and would stay on for the eighth inning as well, tossing a perfect inning of work. To put Peterson’s incredible run into perspective, last night was the first hit against him since October 18th.

Roberto Clemente Puerto Rico League (LBPRC)

Criollos de Caguas 5 – 3 Cangrejeros de Santurce
Indios de Mayaguez 3 – 1 Gigantes de Carolina

After sitting idle for most of the winter last season for the Indios, Torres seems to be getting the first chance at being the closer this season for the team. With the Indios holding onto a 3-0 lead in the eighth inning, he was called upon with runners on first and second with two outs. While he did walk the first batter to load the bases, Torres struck out Oakland third base prospect Edwin Diaz to end the inning. Torres would get himself into trouble in the ninth inning allowing back to back singles to start the inning. After getting the next two batters to ground out and strike out, he allowed an RBI single to Marlins second base prospect Isan Diaz to cut the lead down to 3-1. Torres would bear down though and get the next batter to fly out and end the game.
