20 Players Released From Mets Minors on Tuesday

After cutting 23 players on Monday, the Mets released another 20 on Tuesday. Among them is a former recipient of a $1 million international signing bonus and five members of the organization’s 2017 draft class.

It was slightly interesting to see Ford on the list after he posted a 65:9 K:BB ratio in two seasons, including 32:2 with a 2.03 ERA with Columbia in 2018. Hernandez simply didn’t pan out, finishing his Mets career with a .194/.286/.257 slash line in four seasons.
