It was a rough day at the office for Las Vegas who got flattened and tossed to the curb in an 11-0 blowout. Matt Fox struggled to find the strike zone through the entire game, walking three batters and giving up eight hits over just four innings. He was on the hook for eight earned runs, and Gonzalez Germen was on the hook for the other three.

Justin Hampson and Sean Henn managed to pitch a scoreless inning each in relief, but it was all for naught at that point. Fox barely managed a solid strike:ball ratio, at 49:45, and was taken deep in the second inning with two outs for a three-run jack.

Collin Cowgill and Jamie Hoffmann each had a pair of hits on the ball game…but that was about it. Francisco Pena and Brian Bixler also singled.

The 51s have Carlos Torres on the mound tomorrow, who has been red-hot recently.
