Scottsdale Scorpions (3-4) 10 – Glendale Desert Dogs (5-2) 1
Box Score

C Tomas Nido 2-4, R, 2 2B, RBI, BB

Nido was the only Mets prospect who played in this game, and he broke out of his Arizona Fall League slump in a big way hitting a couple of doubles at the plate. He also played a big part of the game winning ninth inning rally where the Scorpions batted around.  Initially, he would walk and score the third run of the game.  Later that same inning, Nido hit an RBI double extending the Scorpions lead to 9-1.

After two straight games with a passed ball, Nido would have no such issues in the victory.  Still, he would allow another stolen base.  Despite his strong arm, Nido has yet to throw out a base stealer in his four games played.
