In the seventh with the game tied 1-1, Thompson come up and hit a go-ahead RBI triple giving the Scorpions the lead.  Unfortunately, the Scorpions would strand him there despite him standing on third with no outs.  This would be the difference in the game as the Rafters would score two in the bottom of the sixth to go up 3-2.

Kaczmarski has cooled off after a great start to the AFL season going one for his last 13.  Still, even with the 1-13 stretch, Kaczmarski has reached base in nine straight games.
