The Binghamton Mets have announced that Mets top prospect Amed Rosario has been placed on the 7-day disabled list. He is reportedly battling a hamstring strain.
The 20-year old shortstop is hitting .354/.405/.525 with nine doubles and four triples since being promoted to Double-A.
Last night, B-Mets first baseman Dominic Smith was pulled in the fourth inning without a confirmed reason given. Although it was speculated that it was for not running out a ground ball. However, he is not in the B-Mets lineup tonight.
This news comes just days after it was reported by Metsmerized Online that Mets outfield prospect Wuilmer Becerra had season-ending surgery on his labrum.
Dilson Herrera has also sat out the last two games for the Las Vegas 51s with a sore shoulder.
Seems like things are imploding for the Mets organization .

The sandwich in Dom’s back pocket was causing chafing on his arse. Hopefully he doesn’t join the MASH unit, lately the injury bug is hitting us hard. Guys could have used 2 weeks off or a different conditioning coach.
