Angel Cuan‘s Double-A debut was indeed just a spot start for the left-hander:

As usual, Lynn Worthy is on top of his game when it comes to B-Mets news. as I said earlier, Cuan made his debut with the Binghamton Mets last night against the Richmond Flying Squirrels at NYSEG Park. He got the loss, but did pitch pretty well; he allowed three runs on seven hits, one walk, and five strikeouts in six innings pitched.

Hamilton Bennett will be joining Cuan on the return trip to St. Lucie. He appeared in two games for the B-Mets as a reliever, allowing one hit, one walk, and struck out four in three innings pitched.

This roster move opens back up a spot for Noah Syndergaard, who will be pitching this afternoon in the series finale against Richmond. Outfielder Joe Bonfe was also added to the roster. He’s hitting .241/.308/.316 with one home run and 12 RBIs in 79 Double-A at-bats.
