Reno 6, Las Vegas 5

Although Matt Fox looked impressive again while tossing another quality start, Josh Edgin and Armando Rodriguez ruined what was an impressive pitching performance. Fox allowed just two earned runs over six innings and scattered seven hits – overall he has looked a tick better than your average organizational depth.

Edgin and Rodriguez, however, allowed two earned runs each for a combined four over the span of the 7th/8th innings. David Aardsma tossed a scoreless inning in relief, and looked a little more under control, but it was all for naught.

On offense, Collin Cowgill, Wilmer Flores, and Josh Satin all had three hit games – and Flores had two RBIs. Brian Bixler also took a ball deep for his first home run of the campaign.
