Tomorrow, New York Mets pitcher Robert Gsellman is scheduled to make his first rehabilitation start with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies.

Gsellman has been on the disabled list with a strained left hamstring since June 28th. Gsellman suffered the injury trying to leg out an infield base hit during his June 27th game against the Miami Marlins.

This will be Gsellman’s first game pitching for Binghamton since June 5, 2016. Accordingly, this will be his first official start as a Rumble Pony.

On the season, Gsellman is 5-5 with a 6.16 ERA, 1.618 WHIP, and a 6.8 K/9 in 14 starts and three relief appearances.
