Just a friendly little update on some rehabbing major leaguers…
- Good ol’ Justin Turner started at second base for the Binghamton Mets last night, where he went 2-for-3 with an RBI and run scored. Turner is working his way back from a left intercostal strain.
- Tim Byrdak tossed a perfect frame for the St. Lucie Mets with a strikeout. At this point, the Byrd man isn’t listed on the official injury report anymore, which is good news.
- Frank Francisco struck out the side for the GCL Mets. Francisco is working his way back from elbow inflammation and should be ready to join the MLB club soon, but he will not take the closer role away from Bobby Parnell.

What is the status of Perpetual Pedro? Is he now a Minor Leaguer or on rehab assignment?
