The Mets top pitching prospect Steven Matz did not stay in the Pacific Coast League long enough to qualify for the leaderboards. If he had his 2.19 ERA and 1.11 WHIP would both be the best in the league.

The other pitcher that is missing that would top a lot of these stats is Michael Fulmer (10-3, 2.24 ERA) who was fantastic this year before Sandy Alderson flipped him for Yoenis Cespedes.

Starter ERA: Martires Arias 2.29 (Savannah), Robert Gsellman 2.89 ( B’Mets), Ricky Knapp 3.05 (Savannah), Casey Delgado 3.17 (Savannah),  Corey Oswalt 3.36 (Savannah), Scarlyn Reyes 3.52 (St. Lucie), Logan Taylor 3.69 (St. Lucie), Gabriel Ynoa 3.90 (B’Mets).

Reliever ERA: Paul Sewald 1.75 (B’Mets), Scott Rice 1.82 (Las Vegas), Alberto Baldonado 1.91 (Savannah), Kyle Regnault 1.99 (St. Lucie), Akeel Morris 2.05 (B’Mets) Paul Paez 2.14 (St. Lucie), Robert Coles 2.45 (St. Lucie), Mike Hepple 2.51 (St. Lucie). David Roseboom 2.86 (St. Lucie), Ben Griset 2.97 (Savannah).

Wins: Gsellman 13,  Reyes 12, Oswalt 11, Darin Gorski 10 (Las Vegas), Rainy Lara 9 (B’Mets), Ynoa 9.

Saves: Sewald 24, Jon Velasquez 22 (51’s), Morris 13, Jimmy Duff 13 (St. Lucie).

Strikeouts: Seth Lugo 127 (51’s), Arias 115, Gorski 108, Steven Matz 107 (51’s), Reyes 102.

K/9: Alvarez 13.29, Morris 11.89, Baldonado 11.75, Josh Smoker (B’Mets) 11.02.

Starter WHIP: Arias 1.09, Delgado 1.10, Gsellman 1.14, Ynoa 1.23, Lugo 1.25.

Reliever WHIP: Sewald 0.86, Morris 0.93, Velasquez 0.96, Baldonado 1.04,  Regnault 1.06.

Opponents AVG: Morris .135 (2nd best in Minors w/50 IP min.), Alvarez .179, Baldonado .180, Sewald .184, Regnault .202, Smoker 2.09, Velasquez .209.

St. Lucie relievers Kelly Secrest (57.1) and Robert Coles (58.2) were the only two Mets full season pitchers to pitch more than 50 innings and not allow a homerun.
