Las Vegas 51s @ Nashville Sounds, 8:05pm EST

Carlos Alvarado (4-0, 2.08 ERA) vs. Chris Narveson (2-6, 6.15 ERA)

PCL League Scoreboard

Alvarado is looking to bounce back from his worst start since joining the Mets organization on July 27th against Sacramento. He allowed four runs on six hits (one homer), four walks, and two strikeouts in four innings pitched. It was the first time in six starts he allowed a home run, and the runs, hits, and walked allowed were all season-highs.

Binghamton Mets @ Altoona Curve, 7:00pm EST

Erik Goeddel (9-4, 3.99 ERA) vs. Eliecer Navarro (3-4, 4.50 ERA)

EAS League Scoreboard

Goeddel’s personal two-game winning streak was snapped by the Trenton Thunder on July 26th. The right-hander allowed four runs (three earned) on six hits, four walks, and four strikeouts in 4.2 innings pitched. After going 3-0 with a 1.08 ERA in June, Goeddel followed that by going 2-2 with a 4.91 ERA in the month of July, walking 17 and striking out 22 in 22 innings pitched.

Dietrich Enns (0-4, 4.22 ERA) vs. Hansel Robles (4-2, 3.62 ERA)

Robles takes the mound for the first time since getting the no decision on July 26th against Lakeland. He allowed four hits, two walks, and four strikeouts in 5.2 shutout innings. This was his second straight start of lasting 5.2 innings, which is the most innings he’s pitched in an appearance since he returned from the disabled list. The last time Robles shut out an opponent came on April 21st against Charlotte, where he kept them scoreless through six innings pitched.

Marcos Camarena (5-1, 1.88 ERA) vs. TBD

Camarena bounced back from his first Sally League loss on the season with his fifth win on July 27th against Augusta. He allowed two runs on seven hits (one homer), no walks, and two strikeouts in seven innings pitched. Since becoming a starter, Camarena has been very impressive, walking just two and striking out 10 in 24.1 innings pitched. The last time he’s walked anyone was on July 3rd, which covers a span of 19.1 innings pitched.

Brooklyn Cyclones @ Williamsport Crosscutters, 7:05pm EST

Robert Gsellman (1-2, 1.74 ERA) vs. TBD

NYPL League Scoreboard

Gsellman finally earned his first win of the season with the Cyclones on July 26th against Staten Island. He allowed two hits, no walks, and five strikeouts in seven shutout innings. It was the second straight start he’s lasted seven innings, and is the third quality start of the season. Gsellman has pitched in three different levels of the minors this season (St. Lucie, Savannah, and Brooklyn), but his ERA in both those places were over 3.00, as he’s found his home for 2013 on Coney Island.

The K-Mets kick off a three-game set at home against Johnson City tonight. The probable starters haven’t been announced yet.
