Fresno Grizzlies @ Las Vegas 51s 10:05pm EST
TBD vs. Jacob deGrom (4-2, 3.93 ERA)
On the verge of getting called up for a spot start following his last appearance, deGrom made it count even though he didn’t get the call. He last pitched on August 18th against Salt Lake, carrying a perfect game into the sixth inning. He ended up taking the no decision, allowing two runs on two hits, two walks, and three strikeouts in six innings pitched. In four August starts (25 innings pitched), deGrom is 1-1 with a 3.24 ERA, six walks, and 19 strikeouts.
Binghamton Mets @ Akron Aeros, 7:05pm EST
Erik Goeddel (9-6, 3.79 ERA) vs. Brett Brach (8-9, 5.22 ERA)
Goeddel is coming off losing his third straight decision on August 18th against New Britain. He was all over the place, allowing five runs (four earned) on six hits (two homers), four walks, and four strikeouts in six innings pitched. It was the second time in less than a month he allowed four walks in one appearance, and he’s searching for his first win since July 21st.
St. Lucie Mets @ Fort Myers Miracle, 5:05pm EST
Alex Panteliodis (6-5, 4.24 ERA) vs. Jason Wheeler (8-4, 3.88 ERA)

Hansel Robles (5-3, 4.02 ERA) vs. Matthew Summers (4-5, 2.49 ERA)
Panteliodis lost his last start on August 17th against Jupiter. He allowed four runs on nine hits, three walks, and two strikeouts in 7.2 innings pitched. In 36.1 innings pitched on the road, the opposition is hitting .331 off him. His road woes continue (1-4 record, 6.19 ERA), and will try to right the ship tonight.
Robles is also coming off a loss in his last start, which came on August 16th against Jupiter. He allowed four runs on six hits, one walk, and two strikeouts in seven innings pitched. He has been allowing a lot of base runners since joining High-A St. Lucie; in 71.2 innings pitched, he’s allowed 77 hits and 23 walks, while striking out 58.
West Virginia Power @ Savannah Sand Gnats, 7:05pm EST
The Gnats come back home to welcome the Power for a weekend series. The probable starters haven’t been announced yet.
Brooklyn Cyclones @ Vermont Lake Monsters, 7:05pm EST
Miller Diaz (4-3, 2.54 ERA) vs. Lou Trivino (3-3, 2.79 ERA)
Diaz took his second straight loss on August 17th at home against Vermont, but pitched a lot better than the start before. He allowed one run on five hits, three walks, and seven strikeouts in six innings pitched. He’ll try for some revenge tonight up in Vermont against the Lake Monsters. In 49.2 innings pitched on the road, Diaz is 4-3 with a 2.54 ERA with 12 walks, 34 strikeouts, and a .190 batting average.
Kingsport Mets @ Bluefield Blue Jays, 7:05pm EST
Brandon Welch (1-0, 4.50 ERA) vs. Chris Dejong (2-2, 3.45 ERA)
Welch made his 2013 debut on August 16th against Bristol. He allowed four runs (three earned) on six hits, one walk, and three strikeouts in six innings pitched. It was also his first ever professional win.
