Gorski earned his second consecutive win in his July 1st start. Thanks to the rain, his last two starts were almost two full weeks apart. He allowed two runs on five hits, no walks, and three strikeouts in five innings against Altoona. Greeneville Astros @ Kingsport Mets, 7:00pm EST

Sebastian Kessay (1-0, 0.00 ERA) vs. Martires Arias (0-3, 14.54 ERA)

APP League Scoreboard

Arias is trying to get back on track after a horrendous start to the season. He hasn’t given up a home run yet in 2013 and he hasn’t necessarily gotten hit incredibly hard, but he’s allowing too many base runners by way of the walk. His last start was on July 1st against Elizbethton. He allowed four runs on three hits, five walks, and two strikeouts in two innings pitched. He’s now walked nine hitters in 8.2 innings pitched this season.
