Las Vegas 51s @ Fresno Grizzlies, 3:05pm EST

Chris Schwinden (3-5, 5.66 ERA) vs. Boof Bonser (2-4, 5.86 ERA)

Schwinden broke a three-decision losing streak against Reno on May 30th with his first victory since April 20th. He went 6.2 innings and allowed one run while scattering 10 hits, 2 walks, and four strikeouts. His innings pitched and hits allowed are both season-highs, but the one earned run is a season-low. While he hasn’t been very effective this season, he is slightly better on the road, as opponents are hitting .287 off him, rather than the .321 clip opponents have posted against him at Cashman Field.

Trenton Thunder @ Binghamton Mets, 6:35pm EST

Zach Nuding (2-6, 3.28 ERA) vs. Erik Goeddel (4-2, 4.99 ERA)

Goeddel takes the mound with the hopes of staying unbeaten since he was on the short-end of an April 19th decision against the New Hampshire Fisher Cats. Most recently, he took a no decision against Altoona; he threw six innings and allowed three runs on three hits, three walks, and six strikeouts. Goeddel is simply allowing too many runners to reach base this season. In 52.1 innings pitched, he’s given up 54 base hits and 23 walks. The righty has walked at least three hitters in five of his last six starts.

Lakeland Flying Tigers @ St. Lucie Mets, 6:35pm EST

Hudson Randall (0-5, 6.49 ERA) vs. Alex Panteliodis (2-1, 2.03 ERA)

Panteliodis has won two straight starts, most recently against Jupiter on May 29th. He threw five innings, and allowed three runs (no earned), four hits, two walks, and one strikeout. He’s thrown at least five innings in all five starts this season, but has pitched into the sixth inning only twice. The southpaw will be making his fourth start at night this season, and looks to improve upon his 1-1 record, 1.69 ERA, three walks, and 10 strikeouts when the lights are on.

Lexington Legends @ Savannah Sand Gnats, 7:05 pm EST

Colin Rodgers (3-3, 3.27) vs. Robert Gsellman (2-2, 3.52)

Gsellman suffered his second loss in his last three starts against Greenville on May 29th. He lasted six innings, and allowed five runs on 10 hits, one walk, and two strikeouts. The 10 hits allowed were a season-high for him in Savannah, after giving up a season-low three hits against Augusta. Gsellman has started to go deeper into games his last two starts, as he’s thrown seven innings and six innings, respectively. He’ll try to capitalize being at Grayson Stadim, where he’s 2-0 with a 1.46 ERA in 12.1 innings pitched.
