The B-Mets maintain their 8.5 game lead in the EAS Eastern division with a 4-3 record this week. They took two of three from the Altoona Curve at NYSEG Park, and split a four-game set with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats on the road.

St. Lucie Mets

St. Lucie didn’t play Monday or Tuesday, but ended up going 3-2 this week. They took two of three from the Jupiter Hammerheads on the road, and have split the first two games of a three-game set with the Fort Myers Miracle. Their second half record stands at 7-9, but it’s tight throughout the division, as they’re only 2.5 games out of first place.

Savannah Sand Gnats

The Sand Gnats continue to struggle in the second half, going 2-5 this week. They lost two of three to the Hickory Crawdads at Grayson Stadium, and dropped three of four to the Greenville Drive on the road. The first half champions are digging a hole for themselves, as their 7-10 record has them 4.5 games out of first place.

Brooklyn Cyclones

The ‘Clones went 3-4 this week, and are starting to gain a little steam by winning their last two games. They lost two of three to both the Staten Island Yankees and Aberdeen Ironbirds, but took the first of three games at home against the Lowell Spinners. They have some making up to do, as they’re currently occupying the basement of the NYPL McNamara division.

Kingsport Mets

The K-Mets have surged out of the basement in the APP West division with a 4-2 week. Their week included a doubleheader sweep of the Greeneville Astros, and a 20-run game off the Johnson City Cardinals. They’re still six games off the pace of the Elizabethton Twins.

GCL Mets
