With the 2019 MLB Draft in the books, attention has turned to the signing statuses of the draftees. Outside of the top three rounds, the Mets went senior-heavy, meaning there isn’t much doubt as to whether they’ll be able to sign their picks.

On Thursday, the Mets were able to get the ball rolling by inking 14 of the 40 players selected, headlined by fifth-round pick Nathan Jones.

Fryman and Senger were the only college juniors on the list, meaning they could have returned to school for a final year instead of sign with the organization. Among juniors selected that have yet to be signed, only Tanner Murphy (18th round), Nick MacDonald (23rd round), and Cole Kleszcz (33rd round) remain.
