The New York Mets have released minor leaguers Oliver Pascual, Dylan Tice, and Andrew Ryan according to Jacob Resnick of Mets Minors.

Pascual, 22, hit just .195/.208/.229 across three levels (reaching as high as Double-A) in the 2018 season. In five minor league seasons, the versatile switch-hitter has a .597 OPS while playing shortstop, second base, and third base.

The 26-year-old Tice hit .295/.436/.318 last season for the short season Brooklyn Cyclones after signing out of independent ball. The former St. Louis Cardinals draft pick played five positions last year for the Cyclones.

Ryan, 22, pitched to a 6.06 ERA and 1.96 WHIP in 16.1 innings last year for the Kingsport Mets. The left-hander was making his professional debut last season after pitching at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

The minor league season starts on April 4, with the Columbia Fireflies, St. Lucie Mets, Binghamton Rumble Ponies, and Syracuse Mets all in action that day.
