On the same day the Mets organization reunited with Jose Bautista, the team also reunited with LHP Aaron Laffey by signing him to a minor league deal.  Laffey will report to Triple-A Las Vegas.

Laffey, 33, pitched for the Mets in 2013.  That season, he made two starts and two relief appearances pitching 10 innings.  After pitching to a 7.20 ERA and 2.100 WHIP, he would be released and picked up by the Toronto Blue Jays.

Laffey last pitched in the majors in 2015 for the Colorado Rockies.  In three relief appearances, he was 1-0 with a 3.68 ERA and 1.500 WHIP.

Recently, Laffey was pitching in his second season for the Someret Patriots of the the Atlantic League.  In four starts this season, Laffey is 2-0 with a 3.10 ERA and a 1.279 WHIP.
