Adam Rubin of ESPN NY writes on Monday that the Mets signed lefty reliever Dana Eveland to a minor-league deal, but it does not include an invite to the big-league camp, as reported by Chris Cotillo.
Eveland, 30, last pitched in Korea in 2013 and was 6-14, with a 5.54 ERA, with 129 strikeouts in 172.2 innings. His last stint in the majors was in 2012 when he played with the Baltimore Orioles, and was 0-1, with a 4.73 ERA in 14 appearances which included two starts.
