Mets Trade Catching Prospect Blake Forsythe To A’s

The Mets announced on their Twitter account on Sunday that they traded catching prospect Blake Forsythe to the Oakland A’s for future considerations.

Forsythe, who was signed by the Mets in the 3rd round of the 2010 June Amateur draft, has been with the organization for four seasons and combined he batted, .225/.315/.384, with 30 home runs and 126 RBI’s.

MMN wishes Forsythe well with his new club and in his journey to one day become a big league catcher.
