MLB Pipeline updated its Top 100 prospects today and the Mets had four prospects on the list. Shortstop Andres Gimenez (60), first baseman Peter Alonso (65), outfield Jarred Kelenic (69), and right-handed starter Justin Dunn (100) were all featured on the list.

Gimenez and Alonso both have been on the list previously, but Kelenic and Dunn are both making their debuts on the list.

Gimenez, 19, was recently promoted to Double-A Binghamton after hitting .282/.348/.432 with 20 doubles, four triples, career-high six homers and 28 stole bases for the St. Lucie Mets. He has struggled to start his career in Binghamton, going 0-11 through three games.

Alonso has struggled a bit since being promoted to Las Vegas (.203/.329/.483 in 32 games) though he has heated up recently with 1.386 OPS in his last six games. The 24-year-old was hitting .314/.440/.573 in Double-A Binghamton before the promotion. Overall, he has 16 doubles, triple, 24 home runs and 84 RBI this season in 416 plate appearances.

Kelenic debuts on the list after being drafted sixth overall in June by the Mets. He started off his career on fire for the GCL Mets (1.060 OPS) though he has struggled in Kingsport (.679 OPS) since his promotion. The 19-year-old is a perfect 8-for-8 on stole base attempts and has hit .283/.368/.485 with three doubles, four triples and three homers in his first 26 pro games.

Dunn, 22, has impressed in 2018 with a 2.52 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 10.0 K/9 in 96.1 innings between the St. Lucie and Binghamton. The Mets 2016 first round pick has a 2.66 ERA through his first eight Double-A starts.
