Rosario celebrated his #15 Placement on the Baseball Prospectus’ Midseason top 50  and selection to the midseason Futures Game with a two-run triple in the first inning, and two other singles. Poor Evans’s two doubles were overshadowed by this development. Rosario’s 11th triple ties him with Donnie Dewees for the most in all of baseball.

Brooklyn Cyclones had the day off. Infielder Dale Burdick was promoted to Columbia, and a corresponding move for Brooklyn is yet to be announced. Manager Tom Gamboa had nice things to say about shortstop Colby Woodmansee
