Added now, they are winning 2-0 in the 3rd inning. Amed Rosario with a RBI single.
Binghamton has a 4-0 lead, Dominic Smith with a RBI single and two-run double for LJ Mazzilli.
RBI double by David Thompson in the Fireflies 1st inning, now has league leading 22.
The Mets top prospect.
He will be in PSL this season…perhaps in June.
I love me some Dom….the kid can rake…it looks like he is over that cold streak.
hopefully Urena hits so he can go to bingo and Thompson to PSL.
The report out of college was he would be destined for 1B or maybe LF…how does he look at 3B? Do you think he has a chance at sticking with his arm?
Rafael Ramirez added to St Lucie roster
Biondi added to Brooklyn
To me he has looked good at 3B so far this year, see how arm holds up entire season.
St.Lucie has a 2-1 lead in the 5th inning. Flexen has allowed five hits.
Stuart 2 run HR. 4-1 Mets
He has actually shown some decent pop this year.
I was about to write that…for a guy who is a K machine with out of the world speed, nice to see some pop.
Healthy .244 average, walking some too
Binghamton with a 4-0 lead headed to the 5th inning. Pill making his best start of the season.
another single for Dom Smith, Cruzado doubles him in to give Binghamton a 5-0 lead.
Smith on fire now.
We are heading towards May…that is when Dom wakes up.
Does he see AAA this season is the big question or do they leave him at AA all year?
Flexen is indeed bouncing back, six innings of one-run ball so far tonight for St.lucie.
I think that depends his power and his K-rate, think they would like him to succeed in Bingo all year though.
Rosario just knocked in two more with a single, St.Lucie winning 6-1 in the 7th.
The kid is pretty good.
He just keeps hitting!
Another RBI hit for Thompson, now has 23 RBI on the year and the most in the minors.
Gave Columbia a 2-1 lead in the 6th inning.
Tyler Pill has now thrown 8 scoreless innings for Binghamton who lead 5-0.
P.j. Conlon pitching a gem for Columbia, Fireflies lead 3-1.
How did Flexon do?
RBI machine!
7.2, 6 h, bb, er, 4 k’s.
St. Lucie wins 7-1, Flexen gets the win. Rosario knocks in 3 and Guillorme reaches base 4 times.
Two-run single by Dash Winningham gives Columbia a 6-1 lead headed to the 8th.
B-Mets win 6-0, LJ Mazzilli with 3 hits and Dom Smith with two.
Agreed. I think he would really have to force his way out of Bingo by dominating virtually every facet of the game – power, K%, BB% etc
