Reno 16, Las Vegas (33-32) 10 Box Score

The 51s battled back from being down 9-0 at one point with the pitching staff allowing 15 hits including three home runs.

Nimmo extended his hitting streak to 12 games and is hitting .486 over his last nine.

Montero has now allowed 12 earned runs in 7.2 innings over his last two starts and for the year the Pacific Coast League is batting .305 against him.

Injury Note: Before the game RHP Robert Gsellman (quad) and catcher Jeff Glenn was activated off the DL. Today they will place T.J. Rivera on the DL (hamstring) with infielder Niuman Romero being promoted from Binghamton. 

Richmond 4, Binghamton (27-36) 2 Box Score

B-Mets starter Tyler Pill allowed four runs in the third inning and that is all the Flying Squirrels would need to score as the Binghamton offense went 1 for 6 with runners in scoring position.

Smith now has 40 RBI on the season which is tied for the fifth most in the Eastern League.

Derrik Gibson made two errors and Stefan Sabol had one behind Pill who is tied for second most innings pitched in the EL with 80.2.

St. Lucie (33-31) 2, Tampa 1 Box Score

The Mets have now won six of their last seven games as they have one more game left before the Florida State League all-star break this weekend.

d’Arnaud caught all nine innings behind the plate and his next stop should be Las Vegas for the weekend.

Oswalt lowered his season WHIP to 1.34 but opponents are still hitting .275 against him in 64 innings.

Columbia (34-32) 4, Rome 3 Box Score

The Fireflies allowed three runs in the top of the eighth inning to tie the game before scoring the winning run on a Jeffrey Diehl RBI single in the bottom half of the inning.

Columbia secured the victory despite only four hits and going 1 for 11 with runners in scoring position.

Fireflies closer Palsha has allowed only one earned run over his last 7.2 innings and has 40 strikeouts in 29 innings for the season.
