The B-Mets lost in excruciating fashion when Alberto Baldonado allowed a walk-off bases clearing double with two outs and two strikes on the batter. He inherited the three baserunners from Akeel Morris.

Great to see Flexen have back to back very strong games. Last night was his 1st game without a walk all season. I know you guys were high on him before the season (as was I) – have you heard any reports on (1) if he is refining his control and command (don’t necessarily see a trend with his BBs, but there is more to it than that), (2) where he is currently sitting with his FB and how deep into the games he maintains the velocity and (3) progress on his slider and changeup?
As you noted before the season, he is really someone to keep an eye on and am excited to continue to follow
Fastball was 93/94 yesterday while hitting 96 but have to keep in mind it’s more like a Gsellman sinker than a Fulmer 4-seamer. Heard him hit 94 in the final inning yesterday. Sounds like the changeup is still the work in progress as his curveball is still his number two pitch. Has been mixing in a slider a little too.
Thanks Michael. Great stuff. Looking forward to his (hopefully) continued progression.
Of course, wish I could offer some more insight if they televised the damn FSL games.
