Please stay tuned for more draft coverage as we countdown to Thursday.
I love the minor league coverage. This year I’m a lot more intrested in the DSL teams. I think this is the most talent we’ve had down there. Giminez and Guererro I think have Rosario type upside. Adding those 2 guys to any system would be a huge boost.
Teddy,
Great coverage. Do you have a favorite between Guerrero and Giminez? These are 2 guys Im very excited amout. I think they can have Rosario upside. The DSL teams this season have a lot of talent and I will follow much closer than usual.
Do you think Church has turned a corner? I was really bummed with that pick but so far this season it looks like he can be a solid pitching prospect.
Gavin Cecchini is supposed to be a good defensive player right? 12 errors already this year is awful.
Can’t get off to a much better start than Andres Gimenez. What’s the scouting report on him?
Gimenez is intriguing, will stick at SS, and has plus speed and a great bat. Guerrero stands to hit for a bit more power.
Church looks better. let’s see if he continues.
Rosario has 9. Ramos has 8, Guillorme has 7. They’re all great defenders. You know what they haven’t experienced yet? Vegas where it’s dry heat and quicker moving balls.
For now, this WILL change because he’s 17 and scouting reports change a TON. Plus speed, below average power, Plus bat speed from the left side. He was considered the best hitter in the class.
Thanks Teddy. Seems like we have been doing well with the international signings lately. I’m excited for Thursday. I want to see who the Mets draft!
we’re all excited for the draft and to see who are new Mets.
Out of 12, do you know how many are throwing errors?
Breakdown:
Throw: 4
Field: 8
Agreed, I haven’t been this excited to follow the DSL in a long time. Guerrero and Gimenez have some serious upside and I like the power of Edinson Valdez too.
