Lindsay looks good, hopefully he shakes off the injury bug.
Szapucki will learn that control is what ultimately matters. You can strike out the world but you can still lose by getting babip’d to death.
Gimenez is my favorite prospect.
Cecchini should be up at the major league level while Walker plays 3b.
I didn’t even realize the 51s are below .500. Makes it even more fabulous that checchini is hitting 7th again on a team i assume is not even going to playoffs. So wally can’t even at least pretend excuse is hitting the ‘veterans’ for playoffs
Gimenez seems like stud. I wish the mets would be a agreesI’ve with him and bring him state side now to set him up to start full season next year.
I think Rosario has mastered AA. He and Smith should be in the AAA infield next season. Lindsay if he can stay on the field can be a real exciting player for Mets in 2-3 seasons. Alonso before the injury looks good as well. Szapucki will be the prospect Mets may have to have him untouchable at this rate. They normally don’t rush players but I think he’d fit well in High A next season.

With potential control issues, I’m fine with him sitting in lowA to work on things, IMO, he should be there now.
This is true. He’s been wild lately. Low A makes sense now until he stops walking 4-5 batters a game.
