It was Ynoa his first start back since he was send down. It was the first time since June the 18th that he did not allow an earned run for the 51s. Ynoa threw just 96 pitches to get through eight innings.

Rosario and Smith hit back-to-back homeruns in the third inning. It was Rosario his fifth overall and Smith hit number fourteen. Last week Eastern League Player of the week, Phillip Evans, went 0 for 4. Victor Cruzado was the other player in the lineup who drove in a run.

Luis Carreno has not allowed a run with the GCL Mets this season, in 12.1 innings pitched he allowed just three hits and struck out 12.
