Cecchini worked out at second base before the game according to Vegas beat writer Betsy Helfand and will go to the Arizona Fall League to get more reps there. He has gone 11 games without making an error at shortstop.

Bowie Baysox (54-78) 5 vs. Binghamton Mets (61-70) 0 BOX SCORE

The Binghamton Mets collected seven hits and left ten runners on base in a shutout loss. Amed Rosario collected a hit in four at bats. Dominic Smith has hit .382 in his last ten games.

After Logan Taylor and Alberto Baldonado both allowed multiple runs the rest of the pen pitched scoreless ball. After Mateo went two, Kyle Regnault and Tim Peterson pitched one scoreless inning.

Palm Beach vs. St. Lucie Mets suspended in the eighth tied 0-0 BOX SCORE

They will complete the game Sunday.

Columbia Fireflies (62-70) 10 vs. Kannapolis Intimidators (55-77) 6 BOX SCORE

The Fireflies scored seven runs in the third which was enough to beat the Intimidators. The Fireflies were outhit 11-10 but, walked eight times and were 5-14 with runners in scoring position.

Chase Ingram allowed eleven hits but, still got the win with help from the offense and the bullpen. Magliozzi and Haggard combined for 3.2 hitless innings out of the bullpen.

Williamsport Crosscutters (34-32) 8 vs. Brooklyn Cyclones (33-34) 2 BOX SCORE

The Brooklyn Cyclones collected just five hits without recording an extra base hit. Tiberi was the only player who collected a RBI for the Cyclones.

The Brooklyn Cyclones made four errors today which leaded to four unearned runs (two for Llanes and two for McGeorge). Llanes has allowed 16 unearned runs this season in just 74.2 innings.

Danville Braves (30-31) 2 vs. Kingsport Mets (22-41) 0 BOX SCORE

The Kingsport Mets outhit Danville 6-4.

Huertas pitched five no-hit innings but walked five in just 5 innings of work, he has walked 13 in 18.1 innings of work with the Kingsport Mets.

DSL Mets1 (45-26) 2 vs. DSL Cubs (29-42) 0 BOX SCORE

Switch hitter Moreno drove in the only runs of the game with a two run triple in the fifth.

Rondon and the bullpen combined for a shutout as they walked only one batter combined in nine innings.

DSL Mets2 (20-49) 2 vs. DSL Rays2 (29-40) 1 BOX SCORE

The DSL Mets2 got just their 20th win in 69 games. Seven DSL Mets2 pitchers combined to allow six hits and one run. They allowed only two walks and struck out ten.
