Nabil Crismatt

Las Vegas 51s (68-73) 5 vs. Salt Lake Bees (62-77) 4 BOX SCORE

The 51s scored two in the seventh on a Brandon Nimmo two run hit and got the go ahead RBI in the eighth thanks to a Matt Reynolds RBI Double. Roger Bernadina had a three hit game in the win. T.J. Rivera went 1 for 3 on and is now hitting .344 as he and Nimmo are the top two contenders for the PCL batting title.

Ricky Knapp showed very good breaking stuff, but allowed a three spot in the second. Overall Knapp is having a very good season, pitching to a 13-6 record with a 2.56 ERA between St. Lucie, Binghamton and Vegas. Paul Sewald got his 19th save and has not allowed a run in 12 of his last 13 outings. Sounds like someone that could help the Mets bullpen.

Erie SeaWolves (68-70) 2 vs. Binghamton Mets (62-75) 0 BOX SCORE

The Binghamton Mets collected just four hits in the shutout loss. Amed Rosario struck out three times, he’s now struck out 48 times in 201 Binghamton at bats. Evans now qualifies for the Eastrern League batting title and is second behind the Aneury Tavarez who’s hitting .334 for the Portland Sea Dogs.

It was Crismatt’s debut with the Binghamton Mets and his only blemish was a solo home run from Christin Stewart in the fifth. Unfortunately it was enough to beat Crismatt who is having a terrific season. Crismatt has pitched to a 2.47 ERA between Brooklyn, Columbia and Binghamton.

St. Lucie Mets (73-60) 9 vs. Jupiter Hammerheads (67-68) 2 BOX SCORE

With this win the St. Lucie Mets won the FSL Southern 2nd half Division. You can read more about the clinching game here.

It was the first multi-homer game in Thompson’s career, he hit his tenth and eleventh of the season. He has driven in 95 runs in just 115 games this season. Catcher Tomas Nido went 1 for 5 on the night but now has enough plate appearances to qualify for the Florida State League batting title and his .308 average is on top currently.

Brooklyn Cyclones (36-37) 11 vs. Aberdeen IronBirds (30-42) 1 BOX SCORE

Michael Paez had an awful start with the bat but, has a four game hitting streak going at the moment. Anthony Dimino has been very impressive since joining the Cyclones.
