MMN Recap: Binghamton Wins In Extras, Guillorme With Five Hits

Fresno Grizzlies (4-3) 7, Las Vegas 51s (3-4) 4 Box Score

Travis Taijeron hit his second home run of the season, a solo shot in the fourth inning for his only hit of the night. Jayce Boyd got a rare start and went 2 for 4 with a double, RBI and run scored.

McGowan has allowed only two hits in five innings to start the season.

Binghamton Rumble Ponies (3-3) 4, Portland Sea Dogs (5-1) 3 Box Score

Guillorme tied a Rumble Ponies record with his five hit game. Champ Stuart went 0 for 5 with two strikeouts and has been dropped down to the ninth spot in the lineup. Binghamton won despite going 3 for 15 with runners in scoring position.

Lefty Ben Griset picked up the win with two scoreless innings to close the game out.

Bradenton Marauders (7-0) 4, St. Lucie Mets (2-5) 1 Box Score

Mets first base prospect Peter Alonso was placed on the disabled list before the game with a broken left hand after getting get hit by a pitch on Tuesday.

Huertas made his season debut after being added to the St. Lucie roster earlier in the day.

Hickory Crawdads (3-4) 4, Columbia Fireflies (5-2) 2 Box Score

Lindsay stayed in the game after getting hit with a pitch in the head/neck area. Tim Tebow went 0 for 3 with a walk.

Gonzalez bounced back after a tough first start of the season in which he allowed five runs in 3.2 innings.
