Las Vegas 51s (19-25) 7, New Orleans Baby Cakes (14-29) 3  Box Score

D’Arnaud made his second rehab appearance with Las Vegas and collected three hits. He also threw out one runner attempting to steal. Rosario now has a nine game hitting streak.

After giving up five runs in his last start, Pill got back on track by throwing 6.1 innings while only giving up one run. Roseboom has had a tough time in Vegas this season after having a breakout year in Binghamton in 2016.

Binghamton Rumble Ponies (22-15) 6, Bowie Baysox (22-21) 2  Box Score

The Rumble Ponies got on the board in the second inning, when Jiovanni Mier smacked a double to right that drove in two runs. They added two more runs in the sixth inning on a throwing error and a Tomas Nido RBI single before putting the game away with Decker’s two run home run in the eighth.

Delgado has bounced back from a poor start to the season. He has a 2.53 ERA over his last four starts.

St. Lucie Mets (20-24) 10, Dunedin Blue Jays (24-20) 4  Box Score

The Mets scored ten runs on only eight hits. Arnaldo Berrios hit a two run home run in the sixth inning to give the Mets the lead. Mazeika also hit a home run, a grand slam in the eighth inning that blew the game open. Medina collected two hits and scored three runs in his first game with St. Lucie.

Church was decent, although not dominant, giving up four runs and throwing 96 pitches in his 6.1 innings of work. Bashlor has struck out nine batters in his last three innings and now has 27 strikeouts in 15,1 innings on the season.

West Virginia Power (21-21) 6, Columbia Fireflies (21-20) 3  Box Score

  • Tim Tebow LF: 2 for 4, R, HR, 2B, 2 RBI, 2 K, .220/.313/.331
  • Michael Paez 2B: 2 for 4, K, .292/.381/.523
  • Gene Cone RF: 1 for 4, 2B, K, .245/.359/.301

The Fireflies offense struggled in the game, only scoring one run for the first eight innings, on Tebow’s third home run of the season. They were able to rally a bit in the ninth, scoring two runs, one on a Tebow double and one on an Ali Sanchez groundout, but the rally ultimately fell short.

After having his best start of the season in his last outing, Gonzalez had a bit of a rough appearance this time, allowing seven baserunners over his four innings pitched.
