The following inning, Darwin Ramos came in and blew the lead and subsequently became the losing pitcher after Adam Atkins allowed a walk-off single in the ninth.
I feel like at some point we gotta pay a lot more attention to Michael Paez. I hope he keeps it up.
Nice to see Nimmo & Cecchini heating up. I’m still convinced that Nimmo can be more productive in every category except Pop and Veteran club house presence over Grandy. TC won’t dare bench a Vet.
Conlon keeps having a really good, not great season in Double A which is the biggest test for him bc I believe his floor is Lefty specialist and ceiling is #3-4 crafty starter.
Lugo & Wheeler are ready to help and I think they will help. Pill goes down but I think has earned trust of being the Starter that gets called up in case of injury.
I agree Paez is having a great season already 19 doubles and 6 Hrs. Lindsay has 30 BB which is nothing to sneeze at but he’s gotta get his average to his weight at some point and I think he will end up above .240 with 12-15 Hrs.
