Mazeika homered for the second straight day and he has walked (36) more times than he has struck out (33) this season. Andres Gimenez had an off day.

Kilome has a 3.07 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and has held opponents to a .223 average since coming from the Phillies in the trade for Asdrubal Cabrera. Important to note he has 33 strikeouts compared to only nine walks in 29.1 innings for Binghamton. Villines now has 87 strikeouts and only 12 walks in 60.2 innings across three levels this year.

Kelenic was hit by a pitch after homering earlier in the game. Benches cleared, there was a heated exchange between managers and both were eventually ejected. The Bristol pitcher was also ejected. Kelenic is now 15 for 16 in stolen base attempts as a pro. Kelenic has four straight multi-hit game and is slashing .415/.483/.642 over his last 13 games.

All-Star second baseman Luis Santana was out again after getting hit by a pitch on Monday.

Leon was the only Kingsport pitcher not to allow a run on the night. The Mets are three games out of first place.

Cristopher Pujols knocked in four of the Mets nine runs.

Santos, recently turned 17, is 6’8” and has not allowed a run in five GCL innings since promotion from DSL. He has a 2.52 ERA overall in his first pro season over 50 innings.

Catcher Juan Loyo had a big game with three hits including his first homer of the season.

The 18-year-old Escorcha has allowed only 33 hits in 57.1 innings this year and has struck out 63 in that span.

The Mets scored three runs despite only six hits and none with runners in scoring position.
