Las Vegas 51s (20-31) 7, El Paso Chihuahuas (24-27) 5  Box Score

The 51s took the lead on back-to-back RBI singles by Rosario and Smith in the bottom of the eighth inning. Rosario now has a hit in each of his last fifteen games.

After getting roughed up in his first rehab start with Las Vegas, Matz was dominant in this game, throwing five perfect innings and striking out eight. Baldonado has struggled so far with the 51s after pitching 16.2 scoreless innings to start the season with Binghamton.

Hartford Yard Goats (22-26) 3, Binghamton Rumble Ponies 2 (28-15)  Box Score

Nido has bounced back from a terrible April in which he had a .546 OPS. He currently has an eight game hitting streak and has a .940 OPS in May.

Lugo pitched well in the game, striking out seven and only needing 79 pitches to complete six innings. Mateo and Secrest both provided scoreless outings in relief.

Clearwater Threshers (28-23) 1, St. Lucie Mets (25-26) 0  Box Score

The Mets could only get six runners on base in the shutout. Peter Alonso was hitless in his third game back from a fractured hand.

Molina was very good in this game, only needing 73 pitches to get through six innings and only giving up one unearned run on a passed ball by catcher Dan Rizzie. Molina has given up two or less runs in each of his three starts this season.

Columbia Fireflies (24-22) 3, Lexington Legends (23-26) 0  Box Score

The Fireflies scored all three of their runs in the fourth inning on a three-run home run by Winningham.

Simon pitched much better in this game than in his last start, when he gave up eight runs in four innings. He did still struggle with control, walking three and hitting one batter while only throwing 46 out of 83 pitches for strikes.

Lexington Legends (24-26) 2, Columbia Fireflies (24-23) 1  Box Score

The Fireflies lone run of the game came when Lindsay smacked a line drive double to center in the fifth inning, scoring Sanchez from first base.

Gonzalez pitched the whole game, taking the loss when he gave up a walk off single in the seventh inning. Gonzalez has pitched much better after a rough start to the season. He has a 2.08 ERA in 17.1 innings over his last three starts.
