St. Lucie Mets (29-27) 4, Florida Fire Frogs (22-35) 2 Box Score
- John Mora CF: 2 for 3, R, 3B, 3 RBI, BB, K, .250/.312/.354

Columbia Fireflies (29-25) 5, Hagerstown Suns (33-23) 3 Box Score
- Michael Paez 3B: 4 for 5, R, HR, 2 RBI, .306/.401/.543
- Desmond Lindsay CF: 0 for 3, 2 R, 2 BB, 2 K, .171/.322/.321

- LHP Thomas Szapucki (W, 0-0, 6.23 ERA) 4.1 IP, 6 H, 3 ER, 3 BB, 3 K
- LHP Taylor Henry (2-0, 3.97 ERA) 1.2 IP, BB, 3 K
- RHP Joseph Zanghi (0-2, 2.70 ERA) 2.0 IP, 2 H, BB, 2 K
Szapucki made his first start of the season after being sidelined with a shoulder impingement since Spring Training. He had a bit of a shaky outing, allowing nine hitters to reach base and throwing 83 pitches in 4.1 innings, but it’s good to see him pitching with Columbia after missing about two months.
Just good to see Szapucki out there.
And looks like Regnault has leaped past Roseboom right now as the next possible lefty reliever option in minors.
I don’t know much (anything? lol) about Regnault, but I wouldn’t get too excited . He is 28 years old. So not exactly a prospect. But who knows, maybe he can help out. We need all we can get.
