Reno 5, Las Vegas 4

The 51s led off this game with a flurry of hits, scoring three runs in the first inning off a thee-run shot by Brandon Hicks. It would be his only hit on the day, however, and Las Vegas would only be able to muster one more run on the day. The 51s benefited from two Reno errors in the first that kept the inning going.

Rafael Montero was fairly average on the other side of the ball, giving up four runs in five innings of work. He continued to struggle in the PCL, walking three more batters after barely walking any at all in Binghamton. Only three of the four runs were earned, however, as the 51s made three errors behind him. He also allowed a run to score on a balk in the fourth inning, which ended up being the game-tying run.

The game would stay tied until the bottom of the 12th, when ex-MLB OF Juan Rivera singled with two out to end the game via walk-off.
