New York Mets 2015 second round pick Desmond Lindsay and 2016 third round pick Blake Tiberi should be teammates on the Columbia Fireflies to begin the 2017 season.
Mets sinkerballer Jimmy Duff looks to rebound after a round 2016 campaign that saw him produce a 5.40 ERA and 1.71 WHIP in 56.2 innings between the Columbia Fireflies and the St. Lucie Mets.
The 23-year old Anthony Dimino hit .333/.445/.413 in 2016 between the Kingsport Mets and the Brooklyn Cyclones. He split time as a catcher and first baseman during his second pro season.
First baseman Peter Alonso and outfielder John Mora as they swap out at batting practice. Alonso has gone 0 for 2 this spring while Mora has gone 2 for 5 in big league camp.
Outfielder Kevin Kaczmarski has gone 4 for 7 with two runs scored in limited time this spring at major league camp. The 25-year old has proved he’s ready to play for the Binghamton Rumbles Ponies to start the 2016 season.
The 18-year old Andres Gimenez was ranked as FanGraphs 82nd best prospect in their top 100.
The Mets will begin their minor league spring training schedule on Thursday and we will have updates on the games as they become available.

Lindsay and Tiberi. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were both starting at CF and 3B around 2020-2021 (at least until Gregory Guerrero develops the Mets 3B of the future)
Mets have to be aggressive at some point, he’s 25 and that really wouldn’t be that aggressive since he already should’ve been in Bingo.
