Sand Gnats Launch 16 Hit Attack To Beat Rome 9-5

Game three of the three game series between the Savannah Sand Gnats and the
Rome Braves was played Wednesday at Grayson Stadium in front of 1,059
fans.

Fans got to see lots of hits as Savannah outhit Rome 16-10, and won the
game 9-5

Savannah scored first when they sent 9 players to plate in the 2nd
inning, had 5 hits and scored 4 runs.Stefan Sabol,1b singles and went to third
on a single by JC Rodriguez,2b. A single by Patrick Biondi,LF scores Sabol.

Pedro Perez,3b singles to load the bases. A balk scores Rodriguez. Luis
Guillorme, ss drives in two runs with a double.
Rome scored 4 runs in the 4th inning. The first three batters singled, Wigberto Nevarez, 1b, Codey McElroy,dh, and Braxton Davidson, rf, to load the bases. A walk to Omar Obregon,2b scored a run. The second run scored on a wild pitch. Two runs scored on a single by Ozhanio Albies, ss.

The Sand Gnats scored 4 runs in their 4th inning. Catcher Tyler Moore doubled(his first hit this season), went to third on a sac bunt by Guillorme and scored on a single by center fielder John Mora. Jon Leroux, DH singled and a walk to Sabol loaded the bases. Rodriguez hit a triple to plate 3 runs.

Both teams scored a run in the 6th inning to close out the scoring.
