Jupiter 4, St. Lucie 1

St. Lucie 7, Jupiter 4

St. Lucie had a long day at the ball park yesterday as they had to complete a suspended game from last night and play their regularly scheduled game.  In the suspended game, Noah Syndergaard had started it originally and retired the first seven batters in a row before the game was called. Jim Fuller came in to the start the game when it had resumed, and allowed a run in his near four innings of work.

Jeurys Familia, in another rehab appearance however, was saddled with the loss when he allowed the go-ahead run in the seventh. Chasen Bradford did not help the cause when he allowed two runs to Jupiter in the top of the eighth in relief of Fuller. The Mets only scratched out one run in the first game, with the RBI coming from Aderlin Rodriguez.

Game 2 saw Alex Panteliodis toe the rubber for the Mets and allowed three runs over five innings, but none of those runs were earned. It all went by the boards, however, as St. Lucie banged out 15 hits and seven runs in this game in support of him, led by a solid game by Dustin Lawley. Lawley slammed a solo home run and drove in three runs overall on the game. Robbie Shields drove in a pair as well.

T.J. Chism picked up save number five in relief of Pants,
