It was not the best of nights for Domingo Tapia, who brought his stuff, but was victimized by a lack of offense and some bad defense behind him. When it was all said and done, Tapia had gone 6.2 innings and struck out seven, but was pulled in favor of Cody Satterwhite with the bases loaded. Satterwhite allowed all three inherited runners to score, which left Tapia’s line at four runs allowed — three of them earned. Tapia only walked one and allowed four hits.

Satterwhite was making his season debut as a recent signee with the St. Lucie Mets and allowed a run of his own, while allowing two hits and a walk. Hamilton Bennett tossed a scoreless frame.

If not for Dustin Lawley‘s home run, there would have been no offense to speak of.
