Three members of the St. Lucie Mets bullpen were named to the 2018 Florida State League All-Star Game on Tuesday, but two players won’t be around to participate. Matt Pobereyko and Ryder Ryan were selected after being promoted, leaving Matt Blackham as the team’s lone representative.

Blackham, 25, continues to post strong numbers while being older than league average. He’s struck out 29 batters in 23.2 innings, with a 1.01 WHIP and .145 opponents average.

Pobereyko, a signing from independent ball last season, struck out 25 and allowed two earned runs in 19 innings with St. Lucie before earning a promotion to Las Vegas. He made one forgettable outing there and was quickly placed on the disabled list.

Ryan did not allow a run until his final appearance in April, during which he yielded three of the four total runs he allowed in his time with St. Lucie. He had a 4.6 K/BB ratio before being promoted to Binghamton, where he’s made two appearances.
