Tejada Scratched With Hamstring Issue

Mets shortstop Ruben Tejada was scratched from today’s game versus the Cardinals with tightness in his left hamstring. The injury isn’t considered serious, and the Mets pulled Tejada from the lineup as a precaution. Anthony Seratelli will start in his place.

Hopefully this doesn’t turn into something more serious for Ruben. Although he’s often the target of fan venom, I’d like to see him get the opportunity to win back the fan base this spring.
