Joel Sherman of the NY Post reports that the Mets have signed Curtis Granderson to a four-year $60 million contract.

This is a very happy day for Mets fans, because finally the organization has made a splash by bringing an impact player to Citi Field.  With the addition of Chris Young also, it may mean a move to second base for Eric Young, if the Mets decide to trade Daniel Murphy.  But for now the excitement can start as to what Granderson can do in a Mets uniform.

An early Christmas gift for Mets fans.
