The 51s defeated the Aces, 5-3, before a Budweiser Dollar Beer Night crowd of 4,660, to sweep the four-game series and win the home-and-home, eight-game series 7-games-to-1…Las Vegas, winners of five straight games and 8-1 over its last nine games, won the season series against Reno, 13-games-to-3, and captured the 2013 Silver Plate Trophy for the Silver State Diamond Challenge.

Despite a complete game gem from Darin Gorski, the Binghamton Mets were held to one hit and were shut out by the Trenton Thunder, 2-0 on Thursday night at NYSEG Stadium. Reegie Corona hit a two-run home run to drive in the only runs of the game, and Binghamton was shut out for the fifth time this season.
