Good updates…2 questions:
Any idea why Herrera’s stats don’t show up on Met Winter Ball stats web page?
Do each of these leagues correspond to different levels? Equivalent to A, AA, AAA?
Tommyb, thanks for following the post
1. I think its because the league in Colombia is not part of the Carribean Winter League or Arizona Fall League. It’s an independent league so MiLB doesn’t use their stats.
2. The leagues bring in players that play in all of the levels. It’s not broken down, so the players like Pedro Perez may be facing pitchers that are more advanced than what he is used to seeing, but if the players do well it helps with their development and if not, it’s just a time when they are focusing on areas that need work.
Hopefully the effort and work they put in carries over to spring training.
