After a few additional days off to recover from his flu symptoms, Becerra returned to the Navegantes line-up last night and was part of a big five run fifth inning for the team. With the bases loaded and one out, Becerra got credit for an RBI when he was hit by pitch in the arm.

Dominican Winter League (LIDOM)

Aguilas Cibaenas 7 – 1 Estrellas Orientales
Tigres del Licey 6 – 5 Leones del Escogido

Urena received only his third start this season and it did not go well as he struck out three times before being replaced for a pinch hitter once the game entered extra innings. Due to his sporadic playing time, Urena has only racked up two hits in his seventeen plate appearances while striking out in 53% of them.

Peterson on the other hand continues his dominance of the LIDOM with his sixth straight scoreless inning of work. His consecutive batters retired streak did come to an end after seventeen batters when he allowed a two out walk after a nine pitch AB.
