Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reported on Friday that right-handed pitching prospect Chasen Bradford, in camp as a non-roster invite, has been limited in his activity early in camp by a strained oblique muscle.

In 2013, Bradford made appearances for both St. Lucie (A+) and Binghamton (AA) and combined he was 9-3, a 2.61 ERA, 4 saves, and 61 strikeouts in 69 innings.

He was also one of the best relief pitchers in the Arizona Fall league where he was 2-0, with a save, and didn’t allow a run in 11.2 innings.

Rubin shares that Bradford should resume throwing within a week.
