The Baltimore Orioles have signed former Mets pitcher Johan Santana to a minor league deal with an invitation to spring training.

Santana last pitched in the majors in 2012 for the  Mets.

The two-time Cy Young winner is attempting to bounce back from a second major shoulder surgery which has sidelined him for over a year.

Santana is 139-78 with a 3.20 ERA in his 12 year career.

Recently, reports were going out that Santana was coming close to finalizing a deal with the Baltimore based squad, but the confirmation has come in and the deal appears finalized.
